Inspirational Practioner

As a costume maker in training the things that most interest me is the intricate nature of tailoring, the beauty and delicacy of bridal wear, the organisation need for jobs like costume supervision, or crowd costume supervision and dressing; as well as the marry of the knowledge of history and my own personal interest along side that of making costumes.

For this terms research in a practitioner who inspires me I chose Natalie Garbett. I am most inspired by her work, as she has worked with National trust properties, this is the perfect opportunity to marry up a passion for historical research along side being able to make costumes. She has also worked for Shakespeare’s Globe and the BBC.

Here are some websites with more information on her as a practitioner.
